Till some years ago this town was famous because of a manifestation, the Parravicini's
trophy. A real "meeting on white mantle" for ski lovers having its theather at Calvi refuge area. Carona Ski has nowaday joined the official alpineski map, this thanks to a sport society which has been funded on purpose to
realize climbing plants for "wild" skiers.
This valley is the "heaven" of sun and snow. Both are always plentiful and of the best quality which makes of Carisole valley Ski a great experience to join. The landscape is absolutely wonderful while riding the climbing plants. You can see Carona Ski town and its nice little lake with people skating on it arounded by bottom ski tracks.
From Bergamo ride the Val Brembana county road till you reach Lenna.
Then follow for Foppolo Ski untill you'll be in Branzi - Once you reach Branzi follow to Carona Ski (km52)
102km are between Milan and Carona Ski - The town is well served by buses leaving from Milan and Bergamo. |
