Forty ski lifts, including modern four-seats chair lifts running at an height between 1000 and 2200 metres, as well as a hundred kilometres of downhill slopes, raging in difficulty from very easy to extremely challenging, with guaranteed snow covering in every ski resort, international level cross-country skiing trails, partly illuminated, and snowboarding areas make the Brembana Valley particularly competitive for youth skiing, races, meetings and winter holidays. The Bremboski district offers more than 80 km of perfectly packed ski tracks, which are - in great measure - provided with programmed snowing. The unified skipass gives you the chance to use all the lifts of the area: Foppolo, San Simone and Carona. The Valtorta-Piani di Bobbio ski station, thanks to the lifts joining from the Conca di Ceresola in the Brembana Valley to those of Piani di Bobbio in Valsassina, allows the skier to ski with a single ticket on a wide area, provided with tracks of various kinds of difficulty, in a long snow covered and sunny environment. Piazzatorre is a Summer-Winter skiing station. The ski district is set in a very sunny location which, along with the snow quality, allows great skiing.
